So I think I've wrecked my motor mounts. I have to admit, since I've installed my Blitz (Thanks again Tolmach, CTScott, and Cali Yaris), I have developed even more of a lead foot. Do the factory motor mounts allow the engine to move fore and aft quite a bit (2-3")? If so, is there a solution to tighten them up a bit? If not, are there replacements that are stiffer but not solid? I've been tempted to take them off and re-bush them with polyurethane as well. Any thoughts on that route?

Maybe a video of unwanted motion to help. But, I am thinking, maybe a home made torque strut somewhere appropriate would help.

I doubt you ruined them, the engine is suppose to move a lot. If you look, even the piece that connects the exhaust to the block is flexible.
