Anyone know if 15x8 0 will fit 3rd gen?

Im trying to figure out if 15x8 0 offset will fit a third gen without rubbing. I want a nice set of wheels but im looking to maintain a daily ride. If these wont fit I guess id probably go 16x7 :rolleyes:

Those will absolutely not fit. Offset is the key. 0 will poke out like crazy and you'll be buzzing your fenders non-stop. on a 7 inch wide wheel, an offset of about +35 is about as far as you can go.

I am running XXR 522s 15x7 +20 on my Yaris hatchback stock suspension and have no rubbing issues. I'd say that the rear fits flush or close to flush while the front sticks out slightly. 0 offset will definitely stick out further and will most likely rub.

- carry passengers and/or cargo
- hit bumps and potholes
- drive and high speed over road dips and rises

I daily drive the Yaris and use it to commute my family of 4 everywhere, the trunk is always full of something either groceries or stuff, it doesn't take much. The roads here aren't always pretty so there are plenty of bumps/dips/etc. I don't try to hit bumps or potholes and don't personally know anyone does does it purposely but the ones that I have gone over haven't caused any rubbing. I did list offset wrong at +20 though, it isn't and is actually +25.

I've run +32 on stock height. Under high spring compression I buzzed the inside of the rear fender arch. That was with 195/50 on 16x7.

Not exact to your offset but gives you an idea of what is available. I run 15x8 +26 in the rear 15x7 +26 in the front and lowered 2". Hard dips and potholes I do hit the rear fenders. The front has no issues at all.

I run 15x8 +25 lowered on DF210's. Not even close to rubbing. Getting 15x9 +0 next.

I'd imagine that he's also using very low profile tires, something with an overall diameter of 23" or so. Stock is about 24".

Running 15x8 offset 25 with 20mm spacers in the back, it rubs a bit when taking speedbumps or strange hops in the road... but thats it, all depends on what tyre you put on :)

Front 15x8 offset 25 with 195/45/15 tyre = no rub, nothing, only rear a bit.

You also have to consider camber. Yes with factory spec camber, lowered with 15x8 +20 you'll be killing your fenders. But my 15x8 +20 wheels never rubbed, neither do my 15x7 +36 with 25mm spacers. But I was running -4° camber all around and rolled and pulled my fenders. You will HAVE to roll fenders and possibly add neg camber to get aggressive offsets to work.

That was no fender work and no camber.

I run 15x8 +25 lowered on DF210's. Not even close to rubbing. Getting 15x9 +0 next.

I've run three sets of non-aggressive wheels and all have rubbed when lowered on Tein S-Tech under full compression. The rubbing happens on the driver's side only. It's worn away part of the inner fender liner. FYI, I have a 2007 liftback. Not sure if the fenders changed much.

16x7 +37, 205/50/16
15x7 +40, 195/55/15
15x6.5 +40 195/55/15

I can't imagine running a 15x8 +25 up front. I might as well remove the fender liner.

I'm always baffled when people running these offsets in the 20s claim they do not rub. Always baffled.

Like Thirty-Nine, I've rear rubbed with two sets of non-aggressive setups. It is impossible not to rub with these setups being talked about when under high spring compression.
