I have a 07 Sedan, Tire rack recommends a 215/40/17 for my car with 17x7 rims, my question is I will not be lowering this car, is this too thin a tire for a non lowered Yaris sedan? The dealer said that with this tire it puts it at stock wheel height, also I'm buying some MB Seven X rims, will 17 inch aluminum rims be about the same weight as my stock steel rims? I don't want to put rims and tires that are too heavy for this car, I want good looks but I don't want to be completely unpractical.
Thanks in advance....

If I were to go with 16 inch rims and tires would that bring the weight down much closer to stock? I repeat that I will not be lowering my car....

17's look much much better though, lowered or not, 215/40R17's are the way to go

lowered on 17's is a nice look and still practical.
You can do 20's - looks awesome, but absolutely not practical lol :)
