OCV or VVTI Solenoid.. Drive Belt Change

2007 Yaris hatchback. 60K miles.

I changed out the drive belt on my wife's Yaris and used a rounded metal pry-bar between the engine and alternator and looks like I have joined the ranks of the CEL code P0010 peeps.
I reviewed a few DIY post on the belt replacement before I got started, but still I messed up.
I don't recall hitting the OCV located near the topside/engine-side of the alternator, so I am wondering if there is another solenoid or sensor located between the alternator and block that I may have hit and damaged?

After reading several post on the subject it seems that the camshaft timing oil control valve (OCV) part # 15330-21011 is usually the issue. I haven't removed and visually inspected it yet.

Where is the VVTI sensor located?
Anyone used OEM sensor or solenoid replacements from E-bay?

I have a perfect (and low mileage {<30K miles}) used one if you are interested.

The OCV is the only device in the region of pry that would be damaged to lead to that code. The two common ways to damage it are breaking the connector or bending the main body of the valve.

The sensor would be the camshaft position sensor and it is located on the opposite end of the block.

I appreciate the offer and the advice but, for $55 ($15 difference) I purchased a new OEM part.

Put the OEM part today and CEL light is gone. Easy fix and now I know better when it comes time to replace the drive belt years from now. By the way, i didn't see any physical damage to the VVT solenoid so it must have been the electrical connection.

When I broke mine I found out that there is two strands of copper wire in the plastics on that solenoid. I expect Toyota to be cheap with it, but woah. Must be a secret ploy for when we touch (break) them to force us to buy new ones!

best thing to do is don't use the sensor as a fulcrum when changing the belt.

Any chance at giving me a short photo essay on it? Or s step by step?
It sounds easy to swap it out, just worried I might do more harm than good!

It's simple, unbolt, pull it out, slide the new one in :)
