EGR removal/blanking Yaris 2008 D4D

Hiya!

I've been looking into blanking the EGR, but there seem to be no guides for how. I guess it is the same as for the older d4d models with the EGR in a different place, ie. you need to fabricate a piece of steel to block the intake?

Any suggestions or links heartily appreciated.

Did it two days ago, stainless steel plate before the EGR inlet.

Motor runs much better in idle and has a somewhat tighter sound.

It shows a "p0400 exhaust gas recirculation flow" when I look at it with techstream.
but other than that everything is fine.
