Yaris Mk1 Electrical Query

Hi everyone,

Could any of you please enlighten me as to what the loose connector in the photo above is for and where to plug it back into. The photo was taken inside the interior fuse box.

It may be a red herring but recently both of the door speakers in my car have stopped working, could this connector be the cause?

Does you car have power mirrors? It looks like the connector that would plug into the controls for the mirrors.
