Normally, I wouldn't go and see something like that.
However, if it were to be released, I would be there.
I have done work at the movie theaters for the rapper movies.
Usually there are a number of us with metal wands at the entrance
and others placed in the theater.
I can't see where this is very different.
I'm sure that Brit dude will be around to make a comment about the American psyche. A snotty voice From a country that is trying to outlaw pointy knives.
Ruger makes a great AR amongst other stuff. We must be lower profile, so
are limited to mace and handguns.

I saw the first showing of Flight 93 the day it came out, in a theater about 10 miles at the most from where the Thomas Burnett Memorial Bridge is now. There wasn't an empty seat. At the end of the movie, a guy in the first row got up, turned around and faced the audience with a raised fist, and shouted "Thomas Burnett is an American hero". The audience erupted with loud cheering.

Word in the news today is that it will be shown after all, but in limited release. Good job Sony for getting your balls back!

At this time I consider this a big publicity stunt that had nothing to do with said leader. If it's true then I give props to Sony's marketing dept.

If it's false, then said leader just made a further ass of himself.*

Heard nothing but bad reviews about it. Beginning to think the whole thing was a promotional hoax...

Have to give Sony Credit for trying, but if it's true he should be forced to resign.

Satirical humor seems to be lost on a lot of the world... #jesuischarlie

The son does seem a bit insecure. Might be as above, or the son might let mocking get to him rather than laughing at it as his father did.

The movie was terrible. Rogan and Franco are going down a horrible spiral and taking the masses with them. This movie was so bad I had to continue to tell myself to not get up and leave. Shame on Sony for even allowing it to be filmed. They obviously only have dollar signs in their sites. With all of the controversy you would think that it would at least be bearable.

Remember Rodman going to NK and paling around with the young dictator?

Bill OReilly on his show asked Dennis Miller what he thought of the relationship between the two of them.

Miller said "Rodman ought to put the white dress on, marry the kid and refuse to put out until both Koreas get reunified."

Some Rogen movies (that he has either been in or came up with the story for or both) were sophomoric, but still made me laugh (Knocked Up, Superbad). I have yet to see American Sniper, but given the comments Rogen made about it, I'll never go see another movie he is involved with.

Only one movie of the 17 movies that garnered one or more nominations in the 8 major Oscar categories is on Redbox.....Boyhood. It is a Richard Linklater film.....filmed over 12 years with the same actors, it follows the central boy character growing up. It would take someone with Linklater's critical clout, plus a close relationship with the actors (he uses many of the same actors in his movies) to even attempt this. Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette star as the boy's parents. I watched it today. I found it an astounding achievement. I thought it really rang true. I think anyone who has ever lived with or had a relative who is an alcoholic, I imagine, would agree. It is the only movie in the 21st century to score a perfect 100 on Metacritic. It is also a wonderful homage to Texas. Anyone who thinks all of Texas is flat, or that Texas doesn't have any greenery will learn otherwise.
