I'm in the market for a more comfortable set of seats for my '09 3 door. I'll be sticking with something sporty yet comfortable but my concern is seat brackets. Ideally, I want to lower the seat height. I think Yaris' seats are entirely too elevated especially for a tall guy like myself and I was hoping to find a low profile mounting bracket that suits me. In my experience with Corbeau's and their brackets, they tend to sit 2-3 inches lower than OEM seat brackets. Does anyone have experience with mounting racing seats/brackets in these cars? If so..
-What was the height difference from factory seats to your aftermarket seats with brackets?

Lots of info on the forums about this already. Please search and then come back with more specific questions.

I'm new to this forum, not to other forums. I know how the search bar works.
My question is very specific. I don't need to know anything about someone else's racing seat preference or what will fit, I need to know height comparisons between aftermarket brackets that are pre-fabbed to fit the Yaris. After searching, I've yet to come to a conclusion as to which OE-like fitment brackets will lower the seats the most.
For example, a lot of users go with Wedge Engineering or Sparco brackets. All users claim that both of these brackets sit lower but my question is which one is the lowest. This question is not limited to just those 2 brands but also any other brackets that are designed to fit our cars in conjunction with racing seats.
