Per article posted today to MSN Money....Gas tax (USD per U.S. gallon) in Texas is 20 cents per gallon (ranks 38th...12 states = lower). Gas tax in Oklahoma is 17 cents per gallon (ranks 46th). Article only included 3 examples...information was outdated, but the article was primarily about 5 U.S. metros with per gallon prices under $2.00 USD
