Hi,
2008 Toyota Yaris HB RS. The light that illuminates the fan control knob is out. Can some one explain how to replace the bulb? Please and Thanks.

If you search a bit on here there are a couple of threads that show what the bulb looks like and how to replace it.

Removing the knobs:

Took longer than I wanted it to take because the bulbs are not easy to get seated. The part will cost about $13. Stock bulbs are actual (miniature) light bulbs, not LEDs.

FWIW, you do not have to remove the radio itself, however, the bezel around the radio is in the way of getting climate controls out so I'd remove it.

On my '07, the bulb went out. I bought a new bulb. Before I had a chance to install it, the bulb started working again...with no issues since. I returned the bulb.

The same thing happened to one of my clearance lamps.
Over a time of about 4 months, it died 3 times and lit up again when slightly struck.
As it died finally, I was lucky to have a multimeter under my seat (I can only recommend to do so!).
I suspected a wire to be broken, but it was the lamp.
2€ for 2 new ones, and I was done.
