Hi everyone!
First post here!
I have recently acquired a 1999 Yaris 1.0GS and absolutely love the old thing!
I intend to change theoil next month and I am far to tight to buy a Haynes manual I was wondering if anyone could help me out with regards to placing axle stands.
I'm assuming the best place to use a trolley jack would be the points intended for the tyre changing jack at the ends of the sills?
As far as axle stands go, would some part of the subframe be the best bet? it looks a peculiar shape from underneath.
I have noticed 2 long box sections running the length of the passenger compartment - would these be good for accepting axle stands?
Many thanks in advance,
Will
