bought this oem head unit from this seller on ebay

he was also selling the OEM navigation module for a cheap price.

He end up giving me both for $550 shipped, came with brand new head unit, navigation module, GPS antenna, manual, screws, brackets, etc....

Today I had the opportunity to install it, took about 20 minutes tops. I installed it in my 2012 Canadian Yaris LE hatchback. Although the head unit is from the states, all the maps, radio functions, bluetooth all work. So happy :)

Here's some pics, glad to help anyone else if they are looking to do the same or need tips to install.

Everything it comes with except head unit is Toyota branded instead of Scion :)

^I think the part labeled "extension box" is what you're looking for.

That's a great deal though. And here I thought The only option was to pay out the ass for the dealer's $1100 BeSpoke audio just to have nav. Thanks for passing on the info.

the dealer's $1100 BeSpoke audio just to have nav.

At least you don't have that at the distributor level. Gulf States Toyota (the distributor for Texas and a few other states...and one of only two distributors not owned by Toyota itself) includes this on some models as a distributor option printed within the factory sticker.

It's probably a good thing we don't get that option seeing as how everything here is so expensive. And I take it Toyota's goal is to get us to swap-out the head unit altogether for an aftermarket that includes nav. Funny thing about that is you can call their bluff and get one of these for under $1,000 and it'll still look and work better than OEM lol. IMO it would've made better sense to just have BeSpoke included at very little or no extra charge, regardless of location. Hell why not...

nav works flawless, the head unit is very fast and responsive. Loving it :)
