I recently installed one of the LED's that someone on the boards here said they used into my shifter. It worked great for about a month, but now it has started flickering on and off, sometimes staying on for a long period of time, sometimes staying off. None of my other replaced lights in my cluster have this problem, and the light didn't seem to flicker with road bumps. I disassembled and checked out the bulb, and everything seems like it should have been working fine, all the wires are A-okay. However, now the light does not come on at all anymore. Is it possible that the LED already burned out? I didn't have my old one to put back in and check it out, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

connection problems in the LED, i had the same problem just try wiggling the clear part around a little bit, but be careful not to break them

Violin said in a previous thread his went at 5 months. I think there is something wrong about this led assuming we all have the same kind from autolumination.com

Is there another kind of bulb I could use to replace it, seeing as this bulb seems to have problems?

We need to find out the correct name for the bulb base. Try contacting autolumination.com. Tell them what is happening and see if they have some options. These led's should last for years. This should be a one time change in my opinion, should last a VERY long time.
