2007 Yaris hatchback Computer sensor

Has this happened to you?
ABS and Handbrake light are staying on.
Told originally by dealer service advisor. Brakes could fail.
Cost to repair faulty sensor and scope test $657.60
Has anybody else had this problem on their Toyota Yaris ?
My auto is from 2007 and automatic? Has anybody from other years been faced with ABS and Handbrake light staying on.

Common issue with the rear ABS. Brake will not fail. ABS should have stopped working.
