I have a strange noise when put first, reverse or lower gear.
all started after changing the clutch (ac competition clutch) and flywheel.
at first sounded just being cold engine.
At the moment the engine sounds so cold or hot.
change bearings clutch but still the same.
it may be that the box has a problem with a bearing not know.

It's hard to know what the problem is without hearing the noise. Is there a vibration too? If so, is the vibration worse as the car accelerates?

Does the noise occur during shifting or when in gear? Can you describe the noise?

the noise happens when I 'm stopped and put first or reverse .
It 's like an old door opening .
then acelerate and change to second the noise disappears.
yes theare a vibration but disappears when rev high
i have change my flywheel and clutch to ceramic disk.

Check the exhaust system. I recently had the pipe separate and would vibrate at low rpm, at idle and reverse. I got the same old door opening sound.
