Part identification

Hi everyone, need help identifying a part. There is a black rectangular box attached under the car at back under the hatch area on my 2012 Yaris SE. There are two hoses coming out of the left side. Anyone know what this is? Could this be a charcoal canister of sorts?

The pic was taken at night so hope this is enough to identify. Thanks for any info.

Yes, that's the evap canister. Is there something wrong with it?

No nothing wrong, this is my first Yaris and am trying to learn all I can about the car. Thanks for the reply. :)
