Yea...i guess If one is looking for a quick romp in the hay....look elsewhere. But if it's an ltr you are after...Yaris is waiting

Included are the 9 least reliable cars, with listed percentages less reliable than average. Part of the text in the link...the least reliable car (the Fiat 500 L) is 16 TIMES more likely to have problems than the car at the other end of the spectrum...THE xD....according to Consumer Reports.

I hated Echos til I started driving one. There's a lot of things going for these cars which will NOT show up in a week-long autojourno romp, let alone a test drive from your local stealership.

I echo your hate for the echo. lol. I hated the center mounted gauge but having used it I learned to love it. the Toyotas pre 2013 seemed to be more function than form--not that the form is anywhere below the average.
I miss the high revving engines of old Hondas, but after driving other cars (pretty much all the others including new hondas) the low torque drives me away--good for spirited driving weekends though.
