With the Fob:

Hitting the Unlock button once unlocks the driver's door; hitting it twice in succession unlocks both doors and the hatch.

Hitting the Lock button once locks all the doors.

With the Key:

In the driver's door, turning the key clockwise (to the rear) 1/4 turn once opens only the drivers door, turing it 1/4 turn twice in succession opens all three doors.

In the passenger door, turing the key counter clockwise (to the rear) once opens all three doors.

Turing the key in the opposite direction once, in either door, locks both doors and the hatch.

Using the key in the hatch door jwill only lock or unlock that door.

No the fob key will NOT automatically open the trunk on the 4 door.

You really want to know if it "POPS". Someone owning a Sedan with Keyless Entry will need to answer that one.
