SeatBelt Light Keeps Flashing and Chimes

Hello, today while I was driving I heard a chiming sound than my seat belt light starting flashing. It scared the living daylights out of me because for a moment I thought it was a ticking bomb :eek:. I'm just wondering what it was? What should I do?

Was there something on the passenger seat? 10lbs potatoes bag is enough to trigger it.
