Hey all,
I bought a Sony XSP-N1BT Double DIN car stereo (I'm in Canada). I liked the fact that you can just throw your phone in there and sync it up batta bing batta boom.
Anyway, upon opening the box I noticed the damn cable you connect into the back of the deck, then solder/connectorize the other ends into an OEM wiring harness adapter was non-existent. I opened the box to make sure things were in there when I was with the person, and I saw the remote, the paperwork and the deck all wrapped in plastic and all that and figured it was good. Shame on me I guess...anyway. The mic and USB cables aren't there either, but I can live without that.
I'm not able to get a hold of the person I bought it from so I'm kind of up shit creek here.
I'm not sure what I can do about this. Maybe someone with some stereo experience could help me out here?
Would the manufacturer sell that wire by itself? Can I just solder the wires from the OEM adapter directly to the back of the deck itself (would be very tricky but maybe do-able), somehow make my own connector?
I'm going to swing by one of the dedicated car audio shops here in town when I get a chance to see if they maybe have some Sony connectors lying around that I could use or something like that but I don't really have my hopes up there.
