Aftermarket Mirror install. Now driver side door wont lock???

Odd problem that IMO seems to not relate to eachother...

Installed the new power mirror, without a hitch..power windows, and mirror function still works.

except for the driver side door lock will not lock, tried to reset the body ECU by disconnecting the negative of the battery for 10 minutes.

But still no go with locking.

Any ideas where to look?

Can you manually lock it? If you can, I would check the door lock motor.

The door lock and power mirror both route through the door harness, so I would make sure that the connector did not get accidentally pulled from the lock motor and also make sure that the lock cable did not get pinched when the door card was put back on.
