I've taken the rear drivers side panel off and took a pic.
Which wires should i be looking at, the top ones or the bottom ones?

I got this from CTSCott on a previous post for the same wire harness (Curt 5615)
Brake: Light Blue (either side)
Left Turn: Yellow (Left Tail Light)
Right Turn: Sky Blue (Right Tail Light)
Tail: Green (either side)
Ground: White/Black (either side)

I am assuming this this will apply to the 08 Hatchback.

Yes it applies. Look at the white connector from the car's harness that plugs into the grey part.

I am actually not sure which thread you found this set on:
Brake: Light Blue (either side)
Left Turn: Yellow (Left Tail Light)
Right Turn: Sky Blue (Right Tail Light)
Tail: Green (either side)
Ground: White/Black (either side)

Correct is:

Brake: Orange or beige (right) or violet (left)
Left Turn: Light green (Left Tail Light)
Right Turn: Green (Right Tail Light)
Tail: Grey (right) or Green (left)
Ground: White/Black (either side)

Here is the Passenger side.
black/white
Orange
gray
yellow
red

in looking at the plugs and the layout of the wire.
RH Plug (from Right to left)
Black/white
Orange
Gray
Yellow
Red

LH Plug (from right to left)
black/white
Violet (purple)
Gray
Baby Blue
Orange

Assuming that the plugs are the same and follow your list??
Black/whtie = Ground
Orange (Passenger) & Violet (Driver) = Brake
Gray (Passenger) & Green (Driver) = Tail Light
Yellow (Passenger) = RH Turn Signal
Baby Blue (Driver) = LH Turn Signal
Red (Passenger) & Orange (Driver) = Not Used in this application

That is correct. Where you have the baby blue wire, the color should actually be a pale green. I accidentally typed green instead of yellow for the right turn:

Brake: Orange or beige (right) or violet (left)
Left Turn: Light green (Left Tail Light)
Right Turn: Yellow (Right Tail Light)
Tail: Grey (right) or Green (left)
Ground: White/Black (either side)

Wow....it did it.
With that, I'll state for the record...I am not a car guy. I work on conveyor 40-60hrs a week as an engineer. Cars have never really been my thing. I have had this Yaris since Nov 07 and i love it. This is the first Adder to the car I've made and It Works!!!
Thank CTScott for the everyday answers, I really could not have done it without you.

I've moved on to the trailer build and its fantastic therapy for a rough day.

Dear All,
I have Toyota Yaris HB 2007. Having problem of patrol overflow from the car tank.

Specially in hot season and driver of minimum 40 km. after stooping the car, its start over flow after some time.

see attached picture.

i went to a mechanic, he changed this small box but no use. still overflowing from the overflow pipe near the patrol cap.

another mechanic is asking replace cap of patrol tank.

Third mechanic is asking, patrol pump and filter needs to replace.

let me know, what i have to do?
