Hello,
I recently get the car, but came with just one key and that key don't have a remote. it's a basic plastic key. The car is equipped with factory alarm and have
immobilizer, central locking system, electric windows and mirrors.
I went to the dealer, but he ask 184$ for the key and 50$ for programming, which is not serious.
At least I get the key OEM part number which is 89070-52850
After some research I found that the key should be with 3 buttons, FCC ID:MOZB41TG and 4D67 Chip for immo.
Can somebody confirm the above data is true for that part number and if somebody know... if I get a key with 4 buttons, will the remote work with my car?
P.S. My current key has a DOT stamped on it which correspond to 4D67 Chip I think.
Thank you in advance !

Correct on all that. You should be able to pickup a key for around $50.

Thank you for the fast answer!
Do you know if I get a remote with 4 buttons, will all buttons work with the car?
The forth button is for the trunk. My car is hatchback, but I can hear the mechanism is engaging when I lock or unlock the doors.
And one more thing... Is there a function on the remote, where if the lock button is pressed for long time to roll up the windows ?

There is no trunk release for the yaris. Not even the sedan.
And there is not such feature like VW to roll down all your windows

A four button one will not give you any additional functionality and no on the windows.

I asked about the forth button because they sell such a keys on ebay with 4 buttons. I hoped to get something more, but I will stick with the OEM model.
Thanks again!

Hi,
I get the new keys, I cut the blades and set the remote, but I need help for the Immobilizer chip. I went to the dealer today and ask them to make the new keys to work with my car, but the service guy start to explaining that because I don't have some "Master key", the cost will be not 50$ per key, but 220$ for the all tree keys ( the 2 new that I get and the one that came with the car ) Tell me if I'm wrong but there is two ways to make the key to work with the car. The first one is to teach the car to accept the code from the new key through the OBD and usually one car can hold up to four keys. The Second one is to make cloning of the working key.
I try in Ace Hardware store, but the sistem that they have is old and don'd support model from 2011 yaris.
Can somebody tell me where can i go and have the kays done for some cheap price like 50$ per key?
Thank you!

Unfortunately if you don't have the master key, that is correct. Usually when you get just one key with the car it is the master, but if it is not, the dealer can't add additional keys. Finding someone who can replicate the code from the current key would be your best bet, but I am not sure of places that will do that.

Thank you for your replay!
That is a bad news :( Can you explain what exactly is the "Master key" and why is so special?
The Chinese guys sell these chips in bundle and they are not very expensive. How hard can be for somebody to read and write them!? I will make some research this weekend, maybe I can build my own reader/writer :P
Best!
