Motor oil problem

Hi guy, in the last decembre my oil filter have broken:mad: and i have lose almost all oil, when i checked it , i have only 700ml in the motor, at this moment i have make a oil change and change the filter but since this time i got a fucking noise come from the chain.My friend at the garage put a special oil CAN in the motor like 500ml and all the sound go.

First: I want to know if this have happen to someone here and what the pottentially dommage ?

I want to know if anyone have installed this.It's my first option dependaly how many time it take to change it at a garage or if i do myself.

THREE: The option if a 300$ us used motor and a swap but with 10 hour of labor.Total cost approximaly is 1300$ CAN.

You problably understand i want the more cheap option because money it's not my best friend.

For the record when this happen the motor have 184000km and now is +-190000km.

4: If a continue with the 500ml can, the motor will broke eventually ??
