can you install an aftermarket radio in a yaris 2003 mk1?

i want to get a sub and connect to aftermarmet radio, but i dont think you can change the original radio? theres a gap further down with nothing in and looks like i can fit a radio in it but theres no hole at the back for wires or anything? need helppp thanks

There is a replacement trim piece for the MK1, which allows you to install an aftermarket radio in place of the OEM integrated one. You also can purchase harness adapters, which plug into the factory connectors, so that you don't have to snip them off to connect the new radio.
