hey guys. finally getting around to taking pictures of my interior. I had a set of sparco milanos sitting around in black suede so I figured I'd install them since they weren't doing anything and my interior is black as is. Anyways, I don't know what you guys were saying about having to weld onto the sliders or destroying the sliders or what not, but I installed the seats attached to a bracket. It took me about an hour to make, and I can unbolt it if I ever wanted to reinstall the stock seats. I also had a set of sparco pedals around so I figured I would install them as well. Give people eye candy at the shows. Anyways here are the pics, included is the one were the rail is still visible as I'm sure most of you saw on the post of the other guys sparcos. Anyways the only way to get rid of that would be with the aftermarket sliders, I'm toying with the idea of painting a piece of angle black jsut to cover it all up but its good for now. I will soon be getting the back seats and door inserts wrapped in suede as well just to match. The seats feel really nice firm and they keep you in place a lot better, which is very noticeable when I feel like driving instead of just driving haha. To the pics...

Nice seats. I've got my eye on the Megan seats myself. How much did those run you?

Looks great! Did you manage to transfer the seat belt/airbag weight sensor on the passenger side? I have a set of Sparco Turinos going in next week and was wondering.

its a long story but basically a lot less then msrp. the plastic trim pieces were broken but they can be easily bought.

I guess I could have made it transfer over, I never really cared though. I just wanted them done. When I get some more time I will look into installing the sensor again.

Both Weapon R and Sparco are making seat brackets for us, I will probably eventually go this way, but it was a 2 am decision to even throw them in, and my impatience just had me make a bracket for the seats instead so I could have them in that night. It was much cheaper too.

Did they gain you any leg room? I drove a Yaris the other day (that got me thinking about buying one) and I fit, but it was close. The joys of being 6'5". I'd buy a set in a heart beat if it gained you an inch or so at least.

well since your making brackets, make brackets that step the seat back a few inchs for your legs...

This is true. I've never had to replace seats in a vehicle other than swapping out for better factory ones, I didn't know they were universal.
