Yaris ceiling rear seat belt removal

Is there a way to remove the seat belt on the ceiling in the rear seat. When trying to load large items into the hatch, it takes two inches of the height opening away. I'd like to temporarily remove it.

Yes. Just pop the plastic cover off the part that rotates and remove the bolt.
