Hi, I'm currently saving for a new set of coilovers and I've been doing my research and narrowed it down to Megan Racing and Tein Basis coilovers. I want to go LOW. I know I megan's can go lower but I wanted to see some pics of both with the lowest drop possible so I can decide if teins are low enough for me because, I like (according to what I've read) teins comfort but I also like how low megan's can go, so I'm in a dilemma here and hope you guys can help me chose the right one!
PS: I already spent HOURS reading through the forum and googling looking for pictures but I couldn't find yaris with the lowest drop possible on either of those coilovers.

talk to the OP on this thread. He uses Megan's. I do also, but I use mine for racing, I am not all the way low and I do not plan to go any lower.

He has been parting out his yaris lately, may want to shoot him a PM letting you know you are posting on his thread

Basically without any modifications, teins will give you a 2-2.5 inch drop MAX. A good bit of people on here have Megan's and we all love them. The thing to watch out for is springs rates. Megan's come stock at 6k up front and 4k in the rear. This may sound stiff but it is not stiff enough for you to get really tight figment on most occasions. I believe twines spring rates are 1k less in both front and rear which would make them way to soft to get a "proper stance." There is a new company out called J2 coilovers that I doubt most people have even heard of let alone try them for the Yaris. If you want to go low buy Megan's. The stock spring rates are plenty comfortable and you can always order custom springs for your liking. Anyway, here is a picture of my rears maxed out on 17"s. I can still pull the two lickings perches out and bucket (if I really wanted to) and drop it another inch or so. As for my front, they are no where near maxed out, but don't worry because they will put you on the ground if you really want to.

It dosnt look like it's that low because it's on 17"s but you can go plenty low.

Here is the front no where mere maxed out. I know it's not really what you were asking for, but I hope it's at least helpful.

I say save your money and give Garm an email as he is a direct dealer with Megan.
