Well, the other vehicle didn't follow the stop sign and i hit it, the air bag deployed but it didn't even touched me, he car is at the shop being evaluated to know if its a total lost or fixable.

So, if its a total lost, i'm thinking on getting a new one, but i'm between the new 2016 mazda 2 or the new 2015 yaris.

Sad to see this brother. From my understanding the 2016 Yaris will basically be a Mazda 2. Or it will be built on that frame anyway.

Looks like it will be a write off, i had an accident this winter with less damage than you have and they wrote the car off.Although my car was an03 mint condition Echo.:biggrin:

Oh hey! a Yaris in Mexico! I have yet to see more Yaris in DF.

When i was in DF a couple years back, there were tons of TIIDAs.. And apparently Japanese cars only started to emerge.

yes, both of us have insurance with the same company, in Mexico there is a lot tiidas because they are way more cheap than a yaris or a mazda2, but they are less safe and less equiped.
I'm still waiting for the valuation, probably will be ready in tuesday or friday.

Yaris are awesome if you liked it buy another! Maybe find a low miles gen 1 or 2 since they didn't change much over the years

We love our 2015 Yaris SE and it sounds mean with tanabe touring exhaust and KN Typhoon Intake. ...Just saying. ;)
