How do you remove the center 3rd brake light on a 2010 Yaris Sedan? Do you remove it underneath the trunk? I removed the cable that gets connected to the bulb but cannot seem to take the bulb socket out by pulling or twisting. It looks like L shaped from underneath. Any help is much appreciated.

Here is PDF of how to replace it assuming you don't have spoiler, If you do let me know and I'll add that one.

Just noticed that yours is 2010 and mine is 2009. Don't know if they are close or not.

So you replace it by removing the bulb from inside the car behind the rear passenger seat? I thought you remove the bulb from underneath the trunk. I tried lifting the cover from inside the car but it didnt come off. I didnt want to try too hard without knowing if that's the way to do it.

There is a way to pull the 3rd brake light to remove it from inside the cabin, which i don't know how since i have the OEM spoiler, so no 3rd brake light inside. :P

If you look at pdf, you can see that it shows to push it back then up. If you look closely, there are 2 hooks on bottom of cover. Push just enough to clear those two hooks.
