Looks like Ford has decided to give Honda some competition for the "Microcar-That-Looks-Most-Like-A-Minivan" award. :laugh: Check out the rear end on the hatch!

These real-world photos don't look a thing like the Mazda 2, which everyone said was going to be the platform for the new Ford. The concept sketches floating around out there look great, but not one bit like these real cars. Wonder what's up there? Surely they wouldn't have 2 different cars named "Fiesta" in different markets?

its the front of the old ford focus combined with the rear of the old honda crv. its not THAT terrible. i think the fit looks better, but then again, i think the fit sport looks pretty good, even though it does remind me of a mini-minivan. and no matter what people say, this rendition is WAAAY better than any of the fiesta/festiva designs from the past. more subcompact competition = better cars for us...YAY!

man, i remember back in the day when festivas, hyundai excels, geo metros and daihatsu charades were still around. almost impossible to believe that you could buy a brand new car for 8K. i do miss those 60hp, 50mpg POS's...
