Some guy hit me in the parking lot. I got his insurance info should I call his insurance? The damage isn't that bad seems like mostly paint.. I also lost a push screw for the splash guard [See pic] how much do you think it would cost to fix.

just get a quote from a local body shop. compare that to your deductable and see which you would rather do. Go to Rockauto.com and get a list of parts. The most expensive will be the paint job, and that depends if you want quality work, or half-ass work. Shop around some body shops.

If you got his insurance, let his own insurance pay for it. You shouldn't have to pay.

This.
Only reason I'd contact my insurance co is to have them go to bat for me against their insurance co, in the case that they try to get dodgy with you.

 You can submit a claim with them, they'll contact the guy that hit you and the process begins. Like I said, you might consider calling your insurance co just to get them in the loop because if his insurance co tries to be funny with you, yours can go to bat for you. That's one of the services you're paying for.

Yes, what ern-diz said. Contact your insurance company also, but let HIS pay for the damage.

Insurance is not the same everywhere.
In Quebec, your insurance covers you and responsibility for things you destroy.
So, if you get into an accident, at fault or not, your insurance covers you and will raise the next time you renew. The only thing is the deductible you have to pay if you are at fault, or not if you are not at fault.

If you lived in Ontario i'd recommend trying every avenue but calling insurance. If your insurance finds out then it counts as a claim against you if there is the slightest chance that he changes his story to his insurance company (ask me how I know). Where you live I don't know how that all works
