Trying to determine if my Yaris has an existing AUX cable that I just need the plug, or the entire assembly to plug into the OEM unit. I did a few searches, but couldn't find a guide to remove the console by the parking brake in a hatchback.

Also, would anyone know before I pry it open, if my unit supports AUX?

I don't think your unit supports AUX. From what I've seen, units capable of supporting it have an AUX button on the face.

To remove the console, remove a bolt/screw located in the bottom of the cup holder. If you then lift up on the rear of the console, it will release itself from some retaining clips.

Correct - That headunit is not directly compatible with the OEM Aux jack.

Thanks guys. I ordered a new head unit + trim + wire harness from Crutchfield.
