So I've just bought myself a new Yaris and I'm looking to start tuning the engine. Anyone know where I can get performance parts to fit the new shape Yaris? I've tried TRD but there's none on there for my model :(

Don't know much about engine mods as we here in the US have the 1.5 engine but I can confirm that the TRD rear sway bar fits the 2014 model. I have it installed on my car and think it is a great mod. Glad I did it, money well spent IMHO

What are you looking for exactly?

I'm looking for either a turbo or supercharger with the intercooler, cold air feed release valve (for turbo), any internals that need to be done or whether any other engines fit in as I've seen the concept version has a 1.6 turbo putting out 300bhp

For your motor swap, read up on this thread.
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15242

the 1.6 turbo I believe you are talking about is in the WRC Yaris which nobody actually makes.

Zage makes a turbo kit for the 2nd gen which will bolt up to the 1.5L in the 3rd gen also, the only issue you may run into is some charge pipe plumbing. May need some slight modifications there. The only thing that the Zage kit doen't come with is Fuel management. You are looking at about 3k in parts and tuning probaby

Blitz makes a supercharge for a few hundred more dollars.. Not at much power but much easier install.. Look on the boosted threads here for more info on that.

Thanks, that really helps, I've been looking at electric superchargers would they be any good?

I can't speak for those. I don't know anyone in the yarisworld community that has dabbled in that area of superchargers.

Just a thing to look at in the near future. They do have use full electric superchargers. But I lean more to the hybrid turbo's ( no lag )

but here is a link

I think that your car has the same engine as mine, the 1.33 Dual Vvt-I (1NR-FE) . Rotrex makes a turbo kit for the IQ (that shares the same engine) that could be used also for the Yaris, but it's very expensive and probably not road legal (at least in Italy the law prohibits this kind of transformations, don't know in Uk...)
