Side airbags in front seats?

Recently purchased an '07, no owner's manual. Do the front seats have side airbags in them? I want to put some sheepskins on the seats to (hopefully) make them a bit more comfortable, but don't want to interfere w/airbags.

Should have a tag on the outside of the seat back on each seat. My 09 does.

Most 07-08s did not have side airbags in the seats. As mentioned above, if they did there would be an airbag label on the side seam to warn you that they do.

In my old 11 Yaris they had seat/side airbags and I still used my sheepskin covers that I got on a helluva deal at Costco.com. Is that a big no no? I was hoping to buy the same sheepskin covers from Costco for my 16 Yaris.

With seats with side airbags you want to verify that the covers are compatible (i.e. they are sewn with thread which will let go when the airbag does). Other wise, when the airbag pops the cover will prevent it from going in the correct direction and may actually contain it where it pushes you into the steering wheel, rather than cushioning you from the side.

No tags, so I guess my 07 doesn't have 'em. The costco skins are the ones I'll get- its my understanding that they are compatible with most in-the-seat airbags, since they don't have sides to them. Still seem like the best deal, even if I don't have airbags in my seats.

My last Costco skins are about 15 yrs old and still as good as new. Wonderful buy.
