Hello everyone , I have a 2007 Toyota Yaris blowing cold air for 1 min then starts blowing hot/warm air . The compressor and clutch are running and I know the car has freon. I do see stuff coming from the ac vents. Any idea's? What troubleshooting can I try? Sometimes the car sporadically sprays cold air. Could this be a fuse or thermostat? Also the fan in front of the ac condensor goes on and off randomly, does this have anything to do with it?

You say the vents are blowing stuff out? foam? If it's foam than most likely it's the blend door foaming gone bad. warm air from heater is mixing with the cold in evaporator causing you issues. The condenser fan going off does have something to do with it but it's probable going off cause the A/C system is turning off .

The condenser fan turning on and off is normal. The system may either not be properly charged (too much or too little freon) or the pressure switch, which is mounted to the aluminum tubing by the sight glass, may be bad.
