Help ! Front passenger side power door issue.

Power door locks the door, but does not unlock. All other locks are fine. Just that front passenger side door.(front right door).

I hear and see all doors lock but when i press to unlock no sound at all for that right front door.

2007 yaris sedan i only have two lock switches located in the front side doors.

Please need insight on this.

Is it really the door lock actuator?

I read the post you sent.

I'm not sure if this is the problem
because the door does lock from this particular door! from the inside. And unlocks and opens with a key from the outside.

I just doesn't lock when i push that switch to unlock it from the inside front passenger side door.


The thread you posted deals with a person who can't get the door to open or closed from a particular door from the inside.
I just can't unlock it from the inside.

It may still be the actuator. It may also be binding of the cable to the manual lock lever. The key directly flips the lock assembly, so it really is not a good test. If you use the manual unlock lever inside does it feel stiffer than the driver side?

This morning i tested the lock and it works now.

This is so weird.
