How do I remove the molding around the radio to pull it out. The back
speakers are covered over with a black coloured molding. Does this molding come out in on piece so I can do a continuity check with the radio input wires.
What special type of tools do I need to open up the molding around the radio
and the back speakers? My back speakers do not work but the fuse servicing
the radio system is functionally correctly. How do I investigate this problem?

For the radio and trim: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBTIJLk-EZo.

I literally took my radio trim off at red lights on my way home from work. Also remove the trim around the cluster first by pulling it foward. It will keep from snapping the three alignment tabs above the vents.

As for the rear speakers, they are bit more tricky. The black trim covering them is clipped and plastic welded to the lighter grey trim. You have to remove the entire trim panel to get to them.

I removed my entire interior to do sound deadening and stereo install. The side panels are all clipped together front to back in the hatchback. It was a real pain in the butt. I am not sure a good way to do it without removing the rear seat at minimum.
