I have 2 Focus, one a Zetec powered hatchback and the other a SVT Focus hatchback. Lots of fun to drive and I autocross my Zetec powered focus.

I cannot wait till I get to test drive the Yaris. Not sure on color yet, just want a liftback with a stick.

I have a 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen. This is the car they invented the term "tourque steer' for. Fun to drive and I still can get about 25 miles per gallon, but I really want something smaller.

I worked at a Toyota/Scion dealer for a few months and drove an xA. Loved it but I have no interest in driving a 5 door.

I am looking at getting a 3 door Yaris prolly the metallic blue or absolute red color, not sure which.

BTW, nice wheels on the Subie, what are they?

I believe that my old 83.5 dodge Shelby Charger is the torque steer king!!! Trying to drive straight and going through the gears quickly, you would get pulled over on suspicion of DUI because of the weaving associated with the torque steer in that car! Later Dodge models were designed with equal length half shafts to combat this condition.

A Shelby Charger with tourque steer? The car only had 127 lb-ft of tourque.

The Viggen's chassis is almost that old, and it has 250 lb-ft of tourque.

2003 Pontiac Vibe, already racked up over 100,000 miles! Great car, but my wife talked me into an automatic, and I've regretted it ever since. I want something small and manual. I have a '72 Honda Z600 minicar which is my favorite size, but in the middle of restoring I've decided it's not worth the effort (super rare parts, and I'm not so tool-handy). I want something small and fun, but with something at least resembling safety features (which didn't exist in 1972, apparently). However, a 2 cylinder car is pretty cool.

Here's a pic of what a Z600 looks like... not mine, but same color.

~YR

(BTW, the Z600's for sale if anyone wants it. I've got 3 engine blocks, 1 of which is actually running, but could use some carb work)

Jeez, isn't the WRX a 4 banger? Turbo eats into the gas mileage a lot I guess?

it's not SO much the turbo that hurts gas mileage, it's the AllWheelDrive system.
Engine Hp is 227 ish, actual wheel horse power is 172 ish (proven over and over on Dynos from Dynojets to mustang dynos).. a lot of loss through the drivetrain of 3 differentials... They are freakin' sweet though, gotta love the technology in the WRX and Evo series..

Well, I used to drive a 5spd '97 Ford Contour that I gave up for my mom´s '01 Auto Chevy Prizm. It was a good deal considering the only thing I had to do was taking care of the Montly Payments, but I regret doing the trade. I love driving stick and this Prizm is a boring car.
I´m trading in for a 5spd Blazing Blue Hatch with a Conv. Package.

Haha, I know what you mean, these old Supras are a blast to drive and so smooth at high speeds. Yeah the wheels are the TRD 18" racing harts. I liked the look so much and the fact that the wheels should be "hubcentric" where wheel rests on the hub, should prove less stress on the wheel bolts.
