Well decided to do some break-in work on my new motor. Took a trackday at AAA Speedway, and drove pretty easy, since I don't feel like pulling the motor again.
The car feels fantastic at speed, but was having a hard time keeping up with everything that has 400+ hp. There were quite a few hairy situations where I almost had an accident with a 70+k car, but other than that it was a pretty fun day.

I thought you were supposed to use the left arm to signal drivers?
What was your top speed on the "straight?"
Total time of your best lap?
Car sounds nice, man.

Window net prevents me from sticking my arm out the window, so I was signaling the only way I could.
Top speed was limited by the top speed limiter so I was lifting somewhere around 110-112 mph- 6800 RPM in 4th, I'm thinking I could get close to 120 if I disconnected the speedo, but I don't know for sure. Hitting the speed limiter is like hitting the brakes so I was doing my best to not hit that thing. This is a new motor so I'm still a little worried about reliability.
As for lap times, I think I did a 2:07, but I wasn't really pushing the car all that hard due to some incidents that happened in the first session. I'm guessing if I drove it to my limit with the speedo unplugged there would be a 2:3-4 out there but I can't say for sure.
Thanks, its a little quiet right now, but I'm happy with the sound.

I know that speed limiter feeling all to well. Happened to me at about 120 in my CRX on that same stretch. It feels so weird.
Wise choice, being a bit more cautious with the new engine.
