I recently need to change a flat tire and the jack in my Yaris (that I bought new) is a Honda jack, not a Toyota jack. I used to have a Honda Civic (that was totalled by a drunk driver), the Honda jack could have come from that totalled Honda car.

It seems unlikely that a new Yaris would have a Honda jack, but I guess it is possible. If the Yaris came with a new Toyota jack, I have no recollection of exchanging it for an older Honda jack. Hence my question in the header.

Does the Toyota Yaris come with a jack?

Thanks,

Yes it does and it is a Toyota scissor jack, located under the passenger seat. Did you buy your Yaris new or used?

Yes I bought the Toyota new. There is nothing under the passenger seat. I have removed the passenger seat many times.

Same - at least according to my owners manual.

Vitz is equipped with a standard Toyota jack pantograph under the LH side front seat.

OK - My memory of sides is off. It is the drivers side that it is under. There should be a plastic cover over the back side of the jack to keep the rear passenger from kicking it.

So that's what that cover is for! I always wondered where it came from and what purpose it serves.
