Power Lock Problems

I have a few problems and I am unsure if they are all related. They all kinda happened at the same time:

1. Driver side lock does not engage or disengage when I push the button on the key fob (no movement or reaction of any kind).

2. The truck can be heard to 'lock and unlock' but it doesnt actually lock. So if the car is locked, pushing the button on the trunk still opens it.

3. The trunk double locks when I push the lock button. It responds to the key press, and then about 2 seconds later it locks again.

With these few things wrong I assume the dealership will charge me a lot of money to fix this (I also happen to hate this dealership). I suspect it's something I can do myself. Any advice on how to diagnose and fix this problem?

Is it a factory keyless entry, or aftermarket? Incorrectly installed aftermarket systems use the driver's door switch for unlocking (as a single push unlocks all doors, rather than requiring two pushes). Unfortunately, it also doesn't allow unlocking the car if it thinks the car is being stolen (ie: Locked with that button, then unlocked with it after the doors are all closed). In that case, a second or two after unlocking, everything relocks.
