Change odometer and fuel stats to metric

Does anyone know how to switch a 2015, UK-spec Yaris Hybrid odometer from miles to km, and the fuel stats from mpg to L/100km on both the speedo digital display and/or the Touch2 screen?

I've read that you can hold down the trip button to switch, but I can't get that to work. Anyone got an idea how it can be done?

Sorry no. I've got a European built Yaris Hybrid with a Touch2 console display. Quite different from the Prius shown in the video.

If your local dealer is worth a grain of salt, they should be able to tell you. It should be up to them to ensure their customers understand their vehicle and answer any questions pertaining to its operation.

Unless the car was specifically built for multiple markets it will not allow you to change it. I have figured out how to flip all of the Prius models and Camry Hybrid, but it requires disassembling and reprogramming the instrument cluster.

Toyota told my dealer how to switch the fuel consumption to L/100km which they have now done.

However, the odometer and trip data still show miles and Toyota say these can't be changed.

Hi, I rang toyota dealer in Dublin and they told me that this can't be changed. Would you know what did they do to change the readings?
