running lights

You know how the lights on a Yaris are always on low when the engine is running..
I just put on new aftermarket lights and they are not on always...whats up with that??

I take it you are talking about DRL, or Daytime Running Lights.

Are your low beams even functioning? What lights did you install? What type of bulbs?

9003 halogens per Toyota
and they work ok but maybe the sun was too bright..
