Converting interior trim to chrome

I am looking to convert some interior parts to chrome (ref. photo attached) I have sprayed with chrome spray previously(pic. 2), but didn't get the shiny mirror result. Any idea how to get them proper chrome?

Take the pieces to a chromer and have them dipped. I dont think you can do this at home with ordinary paints off the shelf.

I heard good things about the Eastwood Liquid Chrome, though you need to prep the surface carefully to come up with the best result.
