Hello Yaris community,

I want to remove my tail lights on my Yaris 5 doors hatchback 2013 and i have an issue.

I remove the two nuts and pull it to remove the metal and plastic pin from their holes, so the tail light is free to move... almost.

It still block by something on the bottom. Maybe by the part of the light, where the plastic pin is (the white pin). It seems blocked by the bumper, i don't really know if i had to remove it too.

Can someone help me ? Is there, somewhere, a DIY to remove the tail lights?
I search all the afternoon but i found nothing :frown:

I really thank you for an aswer.

Welcome aboard, you need to remove the rear bumper to access two bolts holding the lights in. I made a mistake of only removing the two inside bolts and went at pulling the light. Remove the bumper, take your time and you wont hurt anything. From my knowledge there's no DIY on rear tail lights removal on the 3rd gen but if your'e up for it you can take some pictures and create one :)

Oh really thanks !

I found a lots of answer on this post.

So that what i guess, i have to remove the bumper.

I have one more question, if i'm right, i have just to remove the two black bolts on the top of the bumper and just pull it ?
