Honestly as long as ur over all diameter is close to stock and offset than u can go quite low....to answer ur question I like my Teins springs with a 2 inch drop all around.

I recommend you do coil overs, you will be satisfied with the adjustability of wanting your preferred ride height and stiffness. I went with Megan coil overs for my 2013 Yaris. Coil overs are price including camber bolts, shims, and alignment( I bought life time alignment) but I have had them for over a year and I'm glad I went with this upgrade. with lowering springs your stuck with the ride height and spring rate. I'm just saying, save your money for some coil overs its worth it.

I've been very happy with my Tein S-Tech springs. I have them on Tokico HP shocks/struts.

I had coilovers, which are great for the track. I had the Megan Racing units, like Camelo. I, however, was not a fan. Super stiff, paint flaked off the coils, and poor customer support. Now granted, I got mine in 2008, but still. Also, once I set the height, I never adjusted it, and I rarely adjusted the damping, except for autocross/track events.

A spring/shock combo, while not adjustable, will generally ride better and offer up better street performance. A coilover will allow you to raise and lower (if you actually do that more than once), have more of a drop, but provide a much stiffer ride.

That was always the impression I got from reading the forum over the years: springs/shocks/struts for daily, coilovers for tracking. More recently I've read about performance shocks/struts being hard to come by as a pro coilover argument. Is that the case? I just put a set of Tein S-Tech springs on my car with the stock shocks/struts (62k miles on them). When they go I hope finding replacements, other than OEM level stuff, won't be too difficult. :iono:

I know Tokico no longer offers its HP (Blues) shocks. KYB only offers the Excel-G, which I understand is more of an OE replacement. Allegedly you can still find the Tokico HTS shocks/struts, but I know little about them. Stagg makes parts, but I know less about them.
