Ken@ American Gymkhana has invited us to hold our next Yaris meet at the El Toro Airfield where they are hosting the next American Gymkhana Event. This is a great opportunity to meet in a open space without any hassles. It will also make for great pictures and anyone that wishes to participate in the event can do so by signing up at www.gymkhanausa.com

im in aslong as I can just be a spectator. If I had to sit there and watch a bunch of bone stock yaris's race, I think id shoot myself.

Great! Let's keep this going! They'll be plenty of eye candy to see :eyebulge: I'm thinking since it's an all day event, people can show up at any time of the day, but maybe we can try and have the Yaris meet towards the middle of the day, say between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM so that people don't get too bored. That's also when the $5 fun runs will be going on .

Why not, it does seem to be a hot spot for Yarii :wink: Maybe we can make it yearly and alternate, Rome one year, Bangkok the next, etc... :smile: We'll just rent some military planes to transport all of the cars from place to place.

There is no charge to just show up and hang out. You only need to pay if you decide you want to participate in the Gymkhana course.

Dave from Nor Cal here: One thing we are going to do is put our team cars at the local Toyota dealerships on busy weekends so people can see the possibilities of the Yaris. I drove in today to San Francisco (black Yaris HB, 17's, lowered) and was breaking neck all around. I got a couple thumbs up... this is a $13,000 car!!! (Well, plus a couple more).

We'd love to find and get down with a local driving event up here, specifically to encourage women to come out and drive... Heck, we'd even come down there with enough notice.

If you plan to drive (must pre-register online) then you should arrive at 7:00AM. Otherwise, you can come and go at any time of the day. I'll be there all day but if those that aren't driving want to try to arrive at 11:00AM and stay for a few hours until ~2:00PM that may work better. The $5 lunch runs are at 12:00 and there will also be food vendors there.

Yarisworld Meet non-drivers: 11:00AM ~ 2:00PM (or whenever)

It’s coming!:thumbsup: This Saturday is the BIG day! I hope a lot of you will come out and make this Yaris meet a big turn out! I just got a call from Japan & just confirmed that “Carboy” the famous Japanese magazine will be coming out to cover the Yaris meet. They showed special interest that where having you guys out at the gymkhana event. They have never covered the Vits here in the states so they’re doing a big spread on you guys.

LoL those clean headlights were an accident bonus.
As I was applying the Turtlewax Ice liquid polish on my car I got some on the headlight. Then I'm like oh well, may as well put it all over the headlight since it's going to be buffed anyways =p

Of course he is nice in person. He only talks shit from behind the monitor. He is not going to say anything to anyones face.

He made Car Domain accounts for a couple members of this site (me included) cut and pasted our pics and information on the fake cardomain pages then started sending derogatory and threatening messages to other car domain members telling them to find us on Yaris World. I got a bunch of angry PMs in broken english from people I had "wronged" on Car Domain.

The next meet I see him at we can sit down and figure out what his problem is.
