I am in need of some help again, brothers. Quick story.

So on my way home from work, my car started to short out when I turn my turn signals on. I lost power steering in a middle of a slow turn. So when I got home, I looked under the lighting section in the manual and no troubleshooting about the car shorting out. I'm suspecting a ground shorting somewhere...?

12.7 v @ the battery.
Good HAZ 10A fuse.
how to test relays??

Any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance!

A short will blow a fuse (or melt a wire). It won't cause a behavior to come and go.

Did the turn signals actually stop working?

Did the PS warning light come on?

Did the PS start working again, or not until you turned the ignition off and back on?

Thanks CTScott, Your brevity is impeccable.

Turning signal still works

No warning lights

Intermittent power cut off; most everything shuts off and starts working again, in a matter of milliseconds. Includes: radio, PS, dashboard, lights. I really don't know about braking. Yaris is having seizures when I turn the turn signals.

cleaned the flasher relay and put it back. Everything's in order...for now.

With all the wacky issues you have been having with your car, was it by any chance involved in a flood prior to you owing it? That corrosion on the flasher relay is not something that can happen normally.
