Hi, I have a 2009 Toyota Yaris 1.4 D-4D T Spirit.
There is a aux input port (takes 3.5mm jack) next to the handbrake, which I rarely use. How do I add USB port so that I can plug the usb drive with the mp3 files.
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I could be wrong but I'm quite certain an 09 stock headunit won't have a USB input in the rear that you could just run an USB cable to. I think an aftermarket headunit is your best bet, front aux in and USB input is pretty much standard on every headunit sold today. You can also upgrade to bluetooth, pandora, etc.
I upgraded my headunit to an Pioneer MVH-X370BT and it's great, and installation is quite simple in a Yaris.

There are OEM USB options for many of the newer headunits, but they tend to be very expensive kits.

I got this to get USB and aux-in to where the factory aux-in was. Fits right in. But you'll need a head unit that actually has a USB port in the rear. And both a USB and a 3.5mm extension cable because the cables supplied with this adapter are quite short.

I haven't even used my USB or Aux port-in yet, though I keep meaning to make a music flash-drive. My CD player is still a virgin also, lol.
Haven't used my Bluetooth yet either, since I don't even own/use a smartphone - though I am tempted to get one just to be able to stream my home desktop PC Pandora stations with it.
